The MEDICLIMA 600® is a high performance solar control layer glass. This type of selective sun protection has a low reflection in the visible area, a low absorption and a very low emissivity, making it a multifunctional product. This product is characterized by high colour neutrality from different angles of consideration and very good handling.
The MEDICLIMA 600® is recommended for large glazed spaces highly exposed to the sun’s rays such as facades located in full south or southwest, in these cases, we favour the solar control with a value g of 32% and a light transmission. TL 63% and this with an excellent thermal insulation which can reach 1.0 (W/m2.K).

Transformation (manufacture of double glazing using soft layer glasses)
The manufacturing process of glazing incorporating a soft layer (double glazing) is not quite similar to that of ordinary glazing, it is subject to precautions in terms of handling, transport, storage, cutting and washing, it is especially important to avoid the contact between the layer and the hard or pointed objects and to keep the layer of the upper side during its handling on the tables and the conveyors because, there is always dust and micro-debris which arise on the cutting and shaping tables.
Thus, prior to assembly, peripheral shrinkage is required to remove the layer where the seal will be applied.
In summary, you pay attention to:
- Use demineralized water for washing,
- Keep the layer face up while machining the layered glass (cutting and shaping),
- Never put the layer in direct contact with the seal (silicone), it must be done,
- Make sure the layer is inside the double glazing (face 2 or 3)
The layer must be in position 2 only
