MEDILAM S® is a laminated glass made of two sheets of clear glass assembled by a transparent or colored BPV interlayer (Butyral Poly Vinyl), for the sole purpose of guaranteeing the safety of individuals and the protection agains falls, injuries, break-ins and vandalism.
During a shock with a foreign body, the glass cracks but resists the impact, the fracture is located at the point of impact without altering the visibility.
The BPV interlayer holds the pieces of glass in place, which reduces the risk of cut by glass shards. It also keeps the water tightness of the wall.
MEDILAM S® is aesthetically similar to MEDICLEAR S® thanks to its high light transmission.
