MEDIREFLECT® is a reflective glass coated with thin temperable layers, invisible to the naked eye.
These layer, metail oxides, are deposited at room temperature, after the manufacturing of the base glass.
Originally, these layers are very fragile if they are not soaked and must be placed inside double glazing to avoid any deterioration. For better reflection, it is strongly recommended to soak these glasses and place the layer in first position.
There are many different colors possible including blue, azure, emerald, gray and bronze. Thus, the potential user is offered a significant number of products and performances.
This type of glazing also brings new functions: improvement of visual comfort and attenuation of solar gain and heating
Soft coated reflective glasses give pleasing visiual appeal, offer high reflection and glare reduction.
They also offer an aesthetic coating and solar comfort limiting the entry of heat inside a building, so they are considered as insulating glazing.
