MEDIREFLECT® is a reflective glass with soft layers of specific metal oxides; the deposits are made at room temperature, after the manufacture of the glass. The tempering is necessary for the layer to become photocatalytic and hydrophilic, thus the glass acquires other performance in addition to reflection and becomes a self-cleaning glass.
With this type of glazing, we get an amazing result, a glazing clean for longer time and easier maintenance.
Photocatalysis: The organic matters that rest on the glass over the course of days is broken down by sunlight.
Hydrophilicity: Thanks to the hydrophilic properties of the glass, the rain or cleaning water that comes in contact with the glass flows easily, the decomposed dirt slides downwards and disappears without a trace. As a result, we go beyond impurities without much cleaning work.
